Oh! My Goddess
Oh! My Goddess, aka OMG, Ah! Megami-sama, and AMS/AMG, is a story about
how dialing a wrong number can land you with a great adventure.
Keiichi Morisato is house sitting for his dorm, and them, being the
nice people they are, have left him with no food. During an angst period
of dialing out for food, he accidently calls the "Goddess Help Line" where
an friendly feminine voice tells him that someone will be over for a free
consultation.
That same voice sas hello behind
his back 2 seconds later and Keiichi freaks out, and the scene goes on to
explain that the lady is the goddess Belldandy, and that she's there
to grant him 1 wish of whatever he desires. Thinking it was a prank by
his sempai's (older classmates) he wishes that Belldandy would be his
girlfriend forever.
After Belldandy floats into the air and causes everything in the room to be
spun around, Belldandy tells Keiichi his request has been approved.
Little does the fact that Keiichi's dorm is all male, and there
are no females allowed, really get in the way of them? Nope, because the
Ultimate Force will see through their contract. So they're kicked out.
Blah blah blah, you want the details, see the series, blah blah...in the end
they come to live in a temple, which I think belongs to Belldandy, and
Megumi Morisato lives with them for the first 2 episodes, Urd comes in at
episode 2, and Skuld comes to live with them in tape 3.
Belldandy is the perfect girl. The only thing I've heard said about her is
that she's too naive, which after watching her shoot a fire ball at Urd in
tape 2, I would discount that. I'd say she's just Bell. She's the middle
child out of the 3 sisters, and the kindest, and sweetest of all.
She's a Grade One, Second Class, Unlimited License goddess,
her domain is The present and her alternate source of energy is sleep (mine too.)
All the Goddess's have Angels, and Bell's angel is Holy Bell. Her
mode of transportation (besides the norm) is mirrors.
Belldandy's Goddes job is Granting Wishes
Urd is the sexy half sister who is also half deamon. Older sister to Bell
and Skuld, Urd happens to be a blunder. As good as she tries, her plans
usually blow up in her face, sometimes literally, wether it be mixing a
cake, or putting the Poition of Love into someone's hands.
She's a Grade Two, Restricted, Limited License goddess, her domain is
the past, and her alternate source of energy is alcoholic beverages, mostly sake.
Urd's Angel is World of Elegance. Her mode of transportation is TV sets.
Urd's Goddess job is Yggdrasil system maintainer, also the series' love goddess.
Skuld is the youngest of the goddess sisters, and a huge pain in the butt, but
that's just what I think. Despite the fact I like computer tech people the most,
this does not prove true in AMG. ^_^ Skuld is the technology enhance sister
who proves a true wiz kid in everything from motor bike plans, to calculating
the Ultimate Magic Circle of Warding.
She's a Grade Two, First class, Limited License, her domain is
the future, and her alternate source of energy is Ice cream (131's Ice
Cream), which she eats a lot of when trying to create the blueprint for
the Ultimate Magic Circle in the OAV tape 5. Skuld's Angel is Noble Scarlet.
Her mode of transportation is Water/bathtubs. Skuld's Goddess job is Yggdrasil
system's debugger. She's the mecha person, but she hates useless mecha. And Keiichi.
Keiichi Morisato is a normal highschool guy going to Nekomi Tech. He isn't a
god or anything, he's just a human. He lives with the 3 goddess sisters
and is a fairly good student. He enjoys Bell's cooking, and racing bikes.
Megumi Morisato is Keiichi's younger sister (by a year). She too goes to Nakomi Tech,
and also like her brother, she's in the racing club there. Megumi likes
going to the ocean, eating Bell's cooking, and working on bikes. Megumi will also
take the shirt off your back if it's benefical to herself, but that's ok, who wouldn't.
Megumi lived with Keiichi and Bell through the 3rd OAV tape, then she must have moved out
like she said she would.
